The college has kept pace with positive academic changes taking place worldwide and has traversed a long journey with its founders has been realized in its manifestation as a prestigious college for the empowerment of the rural and linguistic minority for the youths of Karnataka and Maharashtra states. Majority of the faculty are Ph. D and M. Phil degree holders. The faculty have number of research publications in National/international Journals. The college was assessed and accredited at 'B+' level by NAAC in the year 2004 and in second cycle accredited at ' B ' level in 2011 and in thrid cycle accredited at ' B⁺⁺ ' level in 2017. Apart from teaching and curriculum, our college provides healthy practices like seminars, conferences, extension activities, interactive methods of teaching add-on courses, certificate courses etc have been in practice to improve the quality of faculty and students.

Our campus is eco-friendly lush green gardens, encompassing the elegant structure, providing silent atmosphere. We are very much proud to share the happiness that two ranks, 4 gold medals and one Fourth rank are bagged by our students to the RCU University, Belagavi during 2012-13 and 2014-15 respectively. The college received UGC grants of 1.7 crores during XI and XII plan period for different proposes. UGC assistance and contribution of the management has resulted in many new buildings in the campus. We are about to complete the fourth cycle of accreditation in May 2022 and expecting a good gradation. We are very happy with B++ level by NAAC in the third cycle with CGPA 2.88. The college has also started CBZ combination for BSc Course from 2017-2018 which added one more option for our beloved students.Wwe are planning to start PMCS as the one more combination for B.Sc course.
